1.Castle of Bellver

This castle is located in the outskirts of the city. Bellver Castle is a Gothic-style It was built at the beginning of the 14th century by order of King Jaime II of Mallorca, located on a hill 112 meters above sea level, in an area surrounded by forest, from where you can see the city, the port, the Tramuntana mountains and the Llano de Mallorca. Its name comes from the old Catalan “bell veer”, which means "beautiful view." One of its peculiarities is that it is one of the few castles in all of Europe with a circular shape It currently belongs to the Palma City Council, and it houses the Palma City History Museum, which is why it is open to the public. You can access to the castle by foot or by car. You can walk to the castle; however, it is going to be some steeps up the hill until you arrive to the top. But the views from the Castle are worth it and you can see all the city from the Castle. The park and the surroundings are popular for walks and for people that wants to do some sport outside.

2.Cathedral of Palma de Mallorca.

The Cathedral of Palma de Mallorca was declared as a Historic-Artistic Monument and it is the most emblematic artistic heritage of the Balearic Islands. It is as well one of the most admired Gothic temples in the world and, without a doubt, it is an essential visit on any trip to Mallorca. The construction of the Cathedral of Mallorca began in 1229, after the conquest of Mallorca by the Crown of Aragon. King Jaime I erected a great temple dedicated to Santa María, fulfilling the promise made after being saved from a shipwreck on the high seas. The construction of "La Seu", as the cathedral is popularly known, did not end until 1601, although it can be said that until recently it was expanded and rehabilitated. This cathedral can be seen from the port of Mallorca. It is located next to the Royal Palace of the Almudaina. 3. Serra de Tramuntana.

This attraction has been ranked as the second most popular attraction for tourists in Trip Advisor. This serra is a mountainous chain located inf the northwest coast of the island and very near to the city of Palma de Mallorca. The range’s principle peak Puig Major is the tallest in the Balearic Islands with an altitude of 1.445 metres high. If you want to visit these mountains, a good option is go with an organized trip or a day trip tour to the Tramuntana from the city.

4.Explore all the beaches around the city and the port of the city.

One of the most famous city is the beach of Formentor. It is considered, and in all fairness, one of the most beautiful and best beaches in Mallorca. Formentor has something special, with its hardly altered landscape, its fine sand beach, its crystal clear waters, the pine trees at the edge of the beach. However, It is true that the beach of Formentor is a very crowded beach, but it will be for a reason, and you cannot leave Mallorca without having visited it.
